The Food Unit continues to issue a number of the important documents for local government. Some of these documents cannot be placed directly onto the website because of the potential of copying by people other than authorised officers (such as authorised officer identification). The Food Unit would like each local government to provide a single point of contact.

Please provide a single point of contact as soon as possible to foodunit@health.wa.gov.au . This information will be programmed into the Food Unit database. The Food Unit must be notified should this single point of contact change (provision may exist for reasonable amount of redundancy – so consider a deputy etc.). Information received from a non-designated source will not be processed.
