Designated hospitals and health care facilities are required to provide Disaster Response Teams to treat mass casualties at the incident site. The disaster response equipment is one of several mass casualty response capabilities in WA. Country facilities also have access to Parry Packs whilst St John Ambulance has mass casualty kits and specialist logistic support vehicles. The kits consist of medical stores (in a range of bags) and Personal Protective Equipment.
