The
Growing and Developing Healthy Relationships Curriculum Support Materials was first released in 2002 as an up to date sexual health education resource for teachers. The materials are a partnership between:
- Department of Health
- Association of Independent Schools WA
- Department of Education.
These materials approach relationship education in a positive way and are consistent with the WA Curriculum Framework.
They contain relevant and up to date information on sexually transmissible infections, blood borne viruses and unplanned pregnancy as well as a strong emphasis on contraception in the context of positive relationships.
