Aim:

To reduce the risk of HIV transmission from infected individuals who continue to expose others to the virus.

The Program utilises a case management approach to accommodate the complex social, psychological and health care needs of clients. It also includes a statutory component in implementing provisions of Western Australian health legislation.

Core functions:

• Provide ongoing, regular counselling, education and support to clients in order to modify their unsafe behaviours.
