The Food Unit continues to be involved in extensive consultation with key stakeholders and industry bodies in order to effectively implement the Food Act 2008 and Food Regulations 2009. Consequently, comments are occasionally sought from stakeholders on relevant documents. This is in line with Department of Health’s (DOH) commitment to transparent and open communication, as detailed within the Food Unit’s Communication Strategy.
