Under the Food Act 2008 (the Act), the CEO from the Department of Health has the ability to approve certain policies, procedures and forms. The following documents have been approved by the CEO. The forms approved by the CEO are in addition to the prescribed forms contained in the Food Regulations 2009 (Infringement Notices).

Local Governments, as enforcement agencies, can use these  approved forms and customise them to suit their needs (except an infringement notice because this is required to be a prescribed form, which is contained within the Food Regulations 2009).
