Public Health Division funding for Public Health post-graduate studies
The Public Health Division is offering six scholarships, each valued at up to $5000, to current permanent staff to contribute towards the completion of post-graduate studies.
Draft public health bill for public comment
The Government proposes to introduce into Parliament a Bill to protect and promote the health of the public of Western Australia and to reduce the incidence of preventable illness.The draft Bill is designed to replace the antiquated public health provisions of the Health Act 1911. Public consultation is occurring from 1st February - 30 April 2008.
Submissions are invited from any interested person or organisation. Please see the new Public Health Act for WA web page for background information and details of how to make a submission.
